Battery system for motor vehicle e.g. electrical vehicle, has primary drive battery electrically coupled to traction net of motor vehicle and mechanically coupled to motor vehicle by receiving device
The system has a secondary drive battery i.e. lithium ion battery (6), and a receiving device that is provided for a primary drive battery i.e. zinc air battery (1). The primary drive battery is electrically coupled to a traction net of a motor vehicle e.g. electrical vehicle (5), and/or mechanically coupled to the motor vehicle by the receiving device. The receiving device includes a vehicle-lateral part and a coupled part that includes a battery tray and a cover. The battery tray is closed by the cover, and includes a receiving device that is equipped with the primary drive battery. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying electrical power to an electrical vehicle or hybrid vehicle.
