The curtain has modules (2) with transmitters (6) for emitting light beams (5) and/or receivers (7) for receiving the beams, where the modules are coupled with each other in a galvanically separated manner. Each module has a cabinet profile (3) for retaining the transmitters and the receivers, where open longitudinal ends of the profile are connected with an end cap (4). A transferring element (10) e.g. coil, is provided in the end cap for contactless energy and/or signal transmission, and the profile is made of metallic material. A ferromagnetic core forms a mechanical coupling element.
