A method for controlling an equal to current plate circuit (320, 610) is provided. The same current plate circuit (320, 610) comprises an inductive element (306), a first line control element (308), a second line control element (310), a third line control element (312), and a fourth line control element (314). The method comprises: controlling the first line control element (308) and the third line control element (312), that these are electrically conductive, and controlling of the second line control element (310) and the fourth line control element (314), that these are not electrically conductive, corresponding to a first mode setting; determining a second mode setting, the generation of independent of the generation of the first mode setting; controlling the first line control element (308) and the fourth line control element (314), that these are electrically conductive, and controlling of the second line control element (310) and the third line control element (312), that these are not electrically conductive, in accordance with the second mode setting; and controlling of the second line control element (310) and the fourth line control element (314), that these are electrically conductive, and controlling of the first line control element (308) and the third line control element (312), that these are not electrically conductive, corresponding to a third mode setting.
