Permanent magnetic bearing for supporting shaft at housing, has auxiliary bearing provided in superconductor made of superconducting material, and permanent magnet whose magnetic field is formed in region of superconductor
The bearing has permanent magnets (4-8) fastenable at a shaft (2), and an auxiliary bearing (9) provided with a superconductor (10) made of a type-2 superconducting material e.g. yttrium barium copper oxide. A magnetic field of one of the permanent magnets is formed in a region of the superconductor. The superconductor comprises a thin coating made of the type-2 superconducting material located on a carrier (11). The permanent magnets form a radial bearing, and a torque-proof bearing ring is secured at a housing.
