The method involves selecting section of track from digital road map between start point and terminal point. The section of track is divided into two partial sections by setting interconnect point on section on track between start point and terminal point. The curve index is determined using connection point and partial segments, where curve index indicate curve degree of track of digital map. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for computation of travel route; (2) device for determining curve of section of track; and (3) computer program product for determining curve of section of track.
