The bracing unit has container corners and container locks, where corners of the container are arranged on the cover. The foundry molding box comprises a lower box (10) having a top surface (10a) and a bottom surface (10b), an upper box (20) having a top surface (20a) and a bottom surface (20b), a cover for placement on the top of the upper box, a first bracing unit present on the top surface of the upper box for clamping the cover to the upper box, and a second bracing unit present in the bottom surface of the molding box for clamping the cover to the lower box. The bracing unit has container corners and container locks, where corners of the container are arranged on the cover. Container holders are provided for holding locks on the top surface of the upper box. The container locks interact with the container corners. The cover is formed by rods having a lattice structure. The rods have a triangular cross-section, where one of the three corners exhibits inside the cover in the foundry box. The bracing units are placed between the molding box parts, and are formed as a threaded rod.
