Method for checking physical possession of e.g. service driving license in gas station, involves aligning machine processable data with data stored in data base of electronic data validation system, and outputting result of data alignment
The method involves acquiring acquisition feature by a reader, where the acquisition feature is a bar code e.g. 2 dimensional (2D) bar code and 3 dimensional (3D) bar code, and a scanner i.e. cash scanner, is used as the reader. The acquisition feature is converted into machine processable data, and the machine processable data is transferred to a electronic data validation (EDV) system, where the system comprises a data base. The machine processable data is aligned with the data stored in the data base, and the result of the alignment is output. An independent claim is also included for a system for checking physical possession of an official document comprising a data base with personal features of a participating natural person and information of an official document assigned to the person.
