The present invention relates to a solar cell for converting of electromagnetic radiation into electrical energy, comprising a solar cell layer (2) for generating an electrical current through on a front side of the solar cell (1) incident electromagnetic radiation and on the solar cell layer (2) applied to the front sides contacting (3), wherein the front sides contacting (3) contact fingers (3a) for receiving in the solar cell layer (2) the generated electrical current and at least one downstream guide contact (3b) for deriving the of the contact fingers (3a) consumed electrical current, characterized in that the at least one downstream guide contact (3b) of the front sides contacting a plurality of recesses (3c) has. The present invention further relates to a process for the production of an above-described solar cell, and a printing screen for the application of a contacting of such a solar cell.
