The automatic pirate defense system is equipped at electric switch rails including a ribbon switch as automatic pirate attack detector in sub-area or circularly at the highest lateral position of a ship. A high-speed blade, running in a C-shaped rail, is pulled by steel ropes or chains. Pirate attacks, carried out by grappling hooks or ladder hook on the electric switch rails trigger a signal, with which the steel rope that is equipped with blades are automatically started.
