Sensor coil e.g. linear variable differential transformer, for determining degree of opening of electromagnetically controllable proportional valve of hydraulic/pneumatic system, has conductive strips formed on coil carrier geometry
The coil has a coil carrier i.e. injection molded interconnect device, forming two winding windows (8), and three-dimensional conductive strips (14) formed on the coil carrier geometry for interconnecting windings (2, 4, 6). Plug connector contacts (22) utilized for external connection of the sensor coil are directly formed on the coil carrier geometry and are connected with the conductive strips by an injection molding process. An oscillator/demodulator circuit is directly arranged on the coil carrier. Free ends of the windings are soldered on corresponding pins (16).
