The hinge (10) has hinge parts (12, 14) rotatably interconnected and arranged at a motor vehicle body and/or door, where mutual rotating movement of the hinge parts is limited by an end stop element (16). A damping device (22) is provided between the hinge parts, where mutual rotating movement of the hinge parts is briefly absorbable by the damping device before contacting with the end stop element. The damping device has wedge elements (20, 21) assigned to one of the hinge parts and wedged into another by the rotating movement of the hinge parts when opening the door.
