The unit has a guide rail (51), a carriage (52), an inner ring device and an outer ring device moved relative to each other by interconnection of a rolling body device (41) and a sliding guide device. A longitudinal sealing (10l) has a seal with a core made of hard plastic and a coating made of soft plastic. The seal is produced in a sandwich injection molding process such that the core is completely closed by the coating. The seal cooperating with the core is fixed at the guide rail or the carriage or the ring devices.
