Ornamental ring for use as finger ring, has main rings and lock rings connected with each other, and insertion rings fitted in retainer, where main rings, lock rings and insertion rings exhibit certain thickness at location of retainer
The ring (1) has main rings (2, 9) and lock rings (4, 10) connected in force-fit manner. The main rings have a retainer on an outer side, and an insertion ring (3) is fitted in the retainer in a form-fit manner. The main rings and the lock rings exhibit a common inner radius. The insertion ring exhibits LEDs and micro-solar cells on an outer side. Another insertion ring exhibits a bore-hole that is radial to an axle and is insertable on an outer side of the former insertion ring. The main rings, lock rings and insertion rings exhibit thickness of 0.9 mm or larger at a location of the retainer. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an ornamental ring.
