Method for transformation of digital certificates for public key for interoperability of public key infrastructure, involves validating certificate path, and utilizing public key for encryption of data to member
The method involves receiving and validating a certificate path of a digital certificate (Z2) that is issued by a certification authority (CA2) for a member with names and a public key. A certificate (Z2t) containing the public key, the name, serial number of the certificate and name of the certification authority is issued. The certificate is transmitted to a computer application that calculates a confidential and valid certificate path for the certificate. The calculated path is validated, and the public key is utilized for encryption of data to the member. An independent claim is also included for a system for transformation of digital certificates for public key.
