Light guiding plate for lighting device of flat display of display device of vehicle, has light scattering impurities arranged in sub region of surface of light guiding plate and partially in volume of light guiding plate
The light guiding plate (4) has light scattering impurities (3) arranged in a sub region of a surface of the light guiding plate and partially in the volume of the light guiding plate. The light scattering impurities are formed as micro-fine cracks. The light scattering impurities are arranged in a pattern. The light guiding plate has an element selected from the group consisting of polymethyl methacrylate, polycarbonate and glass. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a lighting device with a brightness enhancement film; (2) a display device with liquid crystal display; (3) a vehicle with a windshield; and (4) a method for manufacturing a light guiding plate.
