Method for monitoring sections of automatically working machine utilized for assembling motor vehicle, involves detecting objects based on analysis, where assembly objects in standard sections are detected by non-safety relevant analysis
The method involves recording images of protection sections (18, 20) and standard sections (22a, 22b) of a machine (10) by image recording units (15), where the recording units are arranged at a distance from each other. Objects in each section are detected based on analysis of the images in each section, where foreign objects (27) in the protection sections are detected by a safety relevant analysis, and assembly objects (26a, 26b) in the standard sections are detected by non-safety relevant analysis. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising a program code for executing a section monitoring method (2) a device for monitoring sections of a machine comprising image recording units for recording images of sections of a machine.
