Device for combined lathing and milling of workpieces, has spindle carrier accommodating operating spindles, where relative motions between carrier and workpiece table are numerically controlled along spatial coordinate axes
The device (1) has a spindle carrier (4) for accommodating operating spindles to receive a tool. A workpiece table (6) and the spindle carrier are translationally and relatively moved together along three spatial coordinate axes (X-Z). The spindle carrier is pivoted around a rotation axis (9) by a pivoting device. Relative motions between the spindle carrier and the workpiece table are numerically controlled along the spatial coordinate axes and the rotation axis and a pivoting axis (10). The spindle carrier comprises the rotationally driven and fixed operating spindles. The device is mounted on a frame made of metal sheet and reaction resin concrete.
