The device (1) has an optical component (3) arranged in a closed chamber (2) and made of an anti-magnetic carrier material. An actuating device (8) has a magnet (9) comprising a radial inner pole (12) arranged close to a wall (4) of the chamber than a radial outer pole (11) of the magnet. An optical component retainer (7) has another magnet (10) comprising a radial outer pole (13) arranged close to the wall than a radial inner pole (14) of the latter magnet. The radial inner and outer poles of the respective magnets are arranged and formed at opposite surfaces of a region of the wall. The optical component is formed as lens, prism, and mirror. The radial inner and outer poles of the magnet are formed as south and north poles, respectively.
