Method for identifying e.g. sensor, of automation system, involves generating definite position dependent identification of field devices based on detected environmental parameters, where field devices are integrated in bus systems
The method involves detecting environmental parameters from various environments at an installation region of field devices e.g. sensor. A definite position dependent identification of the field devices is generated based on the detected environmental parameters, where the field devices are integrated in bus systems (BS1-BSx). Field bus protocols (FP1-FPx) are communicated with a super-ordinate controlling unit (SE). The definite-position dependent identification is enabled in the super-ordinate controlling unit and provided identical within a predetermined tolerance level.
