Gas dynamics pressure wave machine for compressing charge air of internal combustion engine of motor vehicle, has rotor housing provided with rotor, and spring supported at cold gas housing and pushing control disk in direction of rotor
The machine (1) has a rotor housing (2) provided with a rotor (4) that comprises cells (3). A cold gas housing (5) and a hot gas housing (6) are arranged at two ends of the rotor housing, respectively. A control disk (14) is arranged in the cold gas housing and supported over an axial bearing (15). The rotor is supported over an axial stop element (23) at the hot gas housing in axial direction. A spring (20) is supported at the cold gas housing and pushes the control disk in direction of the rotor. The axial stop element is made of ceramic material.
