Head-rest for seat of vehicle i.e. motor vehicle, has evaluation and control device evaluating sensor data, accurately positioning head-rest by actuator and tracking head-rest during change of position of head
The head-rest (5) has a sensor i.e. crash sensor, detecting head position of a person at a vehicle seat (1), where the sensor is formed by a camera and a condenser i.e. plate capacitor. An evaluation and control device evaluates sensor data, accurately positions the head-rest by an actuator (4) and tracks the head-rest during change of position of a head. The actuator is provided for placing a height of the head-rest that exhibits a worm gear (6) over a back-rest (3) supporting the head-rest. The plate capacitor includes three plates arranged adjacent to each other.
