The headlamp (1) has a light module (11) accommodated in a housing (10) in a predetermined position, and a compensating element (12) arranged between a support frame (13) and the light module. The compensating element compensates thermally influenced position change of the light module from the predetermined position, and exhibits effective stretching length. An adjustment unit adjusts the effective stretching length, and the light module emits light with light-dark boundary, which exhibits a predetermined angle to a horizontal (H).
