Method for manufacturing long core hole in wall i.e. masonry, of building i.e. church, involves attaching drill head to drilling rod, and sucking inflow cooling air from bore hole outer side over ring gap surrounding drilling rod
The method involves attaching a drill head (10) to a ring-shaped, hollow and rotationally-driven drilling rod (9), where the drill head has a drill bit (11). The drill head is supplied with cooling air for cooling the head and for removing dust from the head during dry-drilling process. The drilling dust-loaded cooling air flowing through the drill bit and the drilling rod is sucked-off by a suction pump during a drilling operation. The inflow cooling air is sucked from a bore hole outer side over a ring gap surrounding the drilling rod. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method for manufacturing a long core hole in a wall.
