Interim implant for use with positioning instrument for application as temporary tooth root replacement and placeholder for final implant, is polished at surface facing maxilla tissue or jaw bone
The interim implant (1) has a mathematical averaged form of a teeth root of a natural tooth, which is averaged over a number of measured real teeth in the apical region (11), in the equatorial region (12) the transversal section is smaller than the accordingly chosen average. The implant is polished at the surface (14) facing the maxilla tissue or jaw bone. An independent claim is also included for a positioning instrument for an interim implant.
