Knitting machine e.g. flat knitting machine, has needle driving device including electric motors with multiple stators that are arranged adjacent to each other, and rotors connected with individual needles and charged by stators
The machine has multiple needles longitudinally and movably supported in a needle bed. A needle driving device (100) is movable along the needle bed by a slide. The needle driving device includes electric motors i.e. servo motors, with multiple stators (1.1-1.19) that are arranged adjacent to each other. Rotors (2) are connected with the individual needles and charged by the stators. The rotors or stators induce driving force or holding force in the needles, where breadth of the stator is greater than that of the rotors.
