The method for producing hollow bodies such as hollow figures made of food mass such as chocolate, comprises filling the food mass in a mold (2) for cooling and solidification and then subsequently moving the food mass. The mold provided with recesses is clamped or placed in the holding frames (1), is flexible for the separation of the food mass blanks by deformation and is made of thin plastic or silicone. The recesses are partially filled with the food mass. The mold is covered and forms a channel along with the holding frame for passing compressed air. The method for producing hollow bodies such as hollow figures made of food mass such as chocolate, comprises filling the food mass in a mold (2) for cooling and solidification and then subsequently moving the food mass. The mold provided with recesses is clamped or placed in the holding frames (1), is flexible for the separation of the food mass blanks by deformation and is made of thin plastic or silicone. The recesses are partially filled with the food mass. The mold is covered and forms a channel along with the holding frame for passing compressed air. The holding frames are stacked one upon the other, are moved as stack to wet all wall areas of the recesses with the food mass and are cooled simultaneously with the passed compressed air, so that the mold is cooled into the stream of cooled compressed air in the filled area from the bottom. The recesses contain circular area with decreased material thickness, so that the releasing of the food mass blanks from the mold takes place by pushing the bottom of each recess such that the bottom changes its position relative to remaining wall area. An independent claim is included for a device for producing hollow bodies such as hollow figures made of food mass such as chocolate.
