Foot protective cover for use in shoe for protecting human foot from local pressure load for diabetes patient, has elastic, compressible heel protection part for protecting foot portion in surrounding of heel bone
The cover (10) has an elastic, compressible toe protection part (14) for protecting a foot portion in a foot sole side and a toe upper-side surrounding of a toe (11). An elastic, compressible forefoot protection part (16) protects the foot portion in a surrounding of a forefoot i.e. metatarsal forefoot. An elastic, compressible heel protection part (18) protects the foot portion in the surrounding of a heel bone (15). The protection parts are run in an integral manner. A resilient compressible material is preferably made of a viscoelastic polymer material, a solid gel and a textile material.
