The footwear e.g. training shoe (1), has middle foot section partially enclosing tarsus of a support while supporting a middle foot, where the footwear is made up of an elastic material. An ankle section extends through an ankle of the support, and a fluid-tight chamber is formed in the ankle section, where the chamber includes a closable leg opening (5) through which the chamber is filled with fluid. The chamber extends in a vertical direction through an external ankle of the support and is formed along a circumference of the ankle section for extending an inner ankle of the support.
