Device for classifying and sorting agricultural organic particles e.g. grains, of cereals e.g. wheat, according to e.g. quality classes, has appropriate collecting containers utilized for sorting particles according to quality classes
The device has a transportation mechanism (3) that receives separated organic particles from a delivery mechanism (2), where the delivery mechanism separates the particles. Light sources (4, 5) are utilized for lighting a measuring region (10) of transportation lines (31). An imaging spectrometer covers the measuring region. A classification circuit (11a) is connected with the imaging spectrometer to allocate or assign the particles. A drive circuit (11b) drives separation mechanisms (14-16). The particles are sorted according to quality classes in appropriate collecting containers (19-21). An independent claim is also included for a method for classifying and sorting agricultural organic particles.
