The process of fabricating a micromechanical part, comprises etching the part in a substrate made of a material, and annealing the part in a reducing atmosphere and under conditions of temperature and pressure adapted to cause the migration of atoms of the material from sharp edges to make the edges round. The part includes two surfaces associated with intersecting planes and connected to each other by a junction in the form of sharp edges. The annealing is carried out at a temperature of 500-1500[deg] C and a pressure of 1 mTorr to 760 Torr.
