The gazebo has supports, walls, roof and a support that is designed as a yoke (2). A retaining structure is laterally arranged on the walls and/or above the roof. The yoke retaining structure, the roof and the retaining wall are connected with hinges (4) in folded transportation condition. The gazebo is made of steel or metal or timber. Multiple heavier elements are provided with throttle controls, which are fixed to one another by reaching a final angle condition of the roof and the retaining wall. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a gazebo.
