FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to anaesthesiology, and can be used as an anaesthesia care in carotid endarterectomy in patients with critical ischemia of lower extremities and severe pain syndrome. That is ensured by preliminary puncture of the epidural cavity within the 11th thoracic to 3rd lumbar vertebras and introduction of amide local anaesthetics. Then, block of deep and durface cervical plexus is applied.;EFFECT: method allows to provide optimal conditions for adequate anaesthesia in a surgery in required amount in patients with multifocal atherosclerosis due to preliminary epidural anaesthesia levelling pain syndrome and related positional discomfort caused by base anaesthesia.;1 ex
