FIELD: technological processes.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely, to production of welding materials used in nuclear power engineering for semi-automatic welding, in a mixture of protective gases, of metal structures from cold-resistant low-alloyed steel for transport-package sets of metal concrete containers (TPS MCC), designed for multiple transportation and durable storage of spent nuclear fuel (SNF) of nuclear power plants, and may also be used in various industries of machine building to manufacture welded structures and items, operated at the temperatures of down to minus 60°C. The material contains carbon, silicon, manganese, nickel, niobium, vanadium, copper, iron and admixtures at the following ratio of components, wt %: carbon 0.03-0.10, silicon 0.40-0.65, manganese 1.80-2.10, nickel 0.10-0.30, niobium from more than 0.05 to 0.10, vanadium from 0.05 to less than 0.10, copper 0.05-0.30, iron and admixtures - balance. The admixtures that the material contains are as follows: nitrogen 0.005-0.010, oxygen 0.005-0.010, sulfur 0.006-0.010, phosphorus 0.006-0.010, arsenic 0.005-0.010, antimony 0.001-0.005 and tin 0.001-0.005. At the same time the following ratios are observed: V+Nb≤0.15, S+P+N2+O2≤0.030 and As+Sn+Sb≤0.015.;EFFECT: invention provides for nuclear and environmental safety in areas of long-term storage and during transportation of spent nuclear fuel due to provision of the required cold-resistance of the seam metal.;2 cl, 3 tbl
