PURPOSE: A fixed LED headlight radiator and a driving method thereof are provided to not only minimize the power consumption of a drive motor but also efficiently obtain the thermal performance of the LED optical source module by easily releasing heat, which is generating from the LED optical source module with a natural convection method, by air which naturally flows into the vehicles in driving.;CONSTITUTION: A heat base(110) supports the lower surface of an LED optical source module(10) by being contacted with the lower surface and is transmitted with heat, which is generated in the LED optical source module, by being fixed in a headlight case(20) to tightly close the fixture of the headlight case. A heat sink(120) emits the heat which is transmitted from the heat base by being arranged in the heat base. A first opening(131), which is opening toward the front of vehicles, is formed. A radiant heat flow path(132) is formed to flow air so. The radiant heat flow path is fixed to a heat base to separately surround the heat sink and communicates with a first opening part and contacts the heat sink. The heat dissipation housing is formed with the radiant heat flow path. A second opening(133), which is opened to the outside of the headlight case, is formed. A blower(140) selectively blows air in the radiant heat flow path. A drive motor(150) drives the blower. A driving control unit(160) controls the drive of the drive motor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
