摘要

PURPOSE: A method measuring the ratio of an intima to media thickness in carotid artery using an ultrasound image is provided to measure the ratio of the thickness of the internal layer and middle of a carotid by using an ultrasonic wave image diagnostic device.;CONSTITUTION: In a method measuring the ratio of an intima to media thickness in carotid artery using an ultrasound image, the relative inner layer(T1), a relative middle layer(T2), and a middle layer of a carotid are divided and measured. A carotid artery is comprised of a blood(700), a blood vessel(710), and a tissue area(720). In a first dimensional method, the inner layer, middle layer, outer layer of the carotid artery are detected by dividing an ROI into a longitudinal axis. In a second dimensional method, the inner layer, middle layer, outer layer of the carotid artery are detected by extracting the whole of the ROI into a longitudinal axis.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
