PURPOSE: An automatic pilot for a guided bomb and a method thereof are provided to enable precise control of flight direction by determining feedback information, such as control gain, through linearization and approximation. CONSTITUTION: An automatic control part(240) feeds back the previous pitch acceleration, the previous roll posture angle, and the previous yaw acceleration after linearization; estimates a pitch acceleration, a roll posture angle, and a yaw acceleration using the previous pitch acceleration, the previous roll posture angle, and the previous yaw acceleration and a pitch direction control signal, a roll direction control signal, and a yaw direction control signal created by a flight direction determination part(230); and controls the rudders of a guide bomb in pitch, roll, and yaw directions respectively using the estimated pitch acceleration, roll posture angle, and yaw acceleration.
