PURPOSE: A WIG(Wing In Ground) ship supported by a structure of a pier to come alongside the pier and a docking system thereof are provided to reduce damage to a part contacting a structure of a pier because the bow of the hull or side pontoons does not directly contact the structure. CONSTITUTION: A WIG ship supported by a structure of a pier(W) to come alongside the pier comprises a hull(110), side pontoons which are arranged on both sides of the hull, a cover unit(130) which is installed on the bow(111) of the hull or side pontoons and switched between open and close states, and a support unit(140) which is covered when the cover unit is closed and located in the front of the bow and supported by the pier structure when the cover unit is opened.
