PURPOSE: A method for producing soybean paste containing Scutellariae Radix and the Scutellariae Radix soybean paste produced thereby are provided to improve nutrients and tastes of the soybean paste by adding various herbal medicines, Ruditapes philippinarum, anchovy, shrimps etc. CONSTITUTION: Soybean paste containing Scutellariae Radix includes Korean native beef 2.5 ~ 3.5 parts by weight, short-necked clam 3.5 ~ 4.5 parts by weight, anchovy 2.5~3.5 parts by weight, shrimp 2.5~3.5 parts by weight, Scutellariae Radix 0.05~0.15 parts by weight, Curcumae Longae Rhizoma 0.3~0.5 parts by weight, Lentinus edodes 1.5~2.5 parts by weight, garlic powder 0.4~0.6 parts by weight, pepper seed 0.4~0.6 parts by weight, cayenne pepper 0.5~1.5 parts by weight, Laminaria japonica 1.5~2.5 parts by weight, and skipjack tuna 0.5~1.5 parts by weight. The filtered liquid manufactured by boiling Laminaria japonica with water.
