PURPOSE: An amplitude and phase delay compensation apparatus which uses a sub-band poly phase filter bank in a broadband wireless communication and an apparatus thereof are provided to use a poly phase filter bank in a process processing a broadband signal, thereby improving a degradation phenomenon of a phase and gain planarity within a band.;CONSTITUTION: An amplitude and phase compensation apparatus which uses a poly phase filter bank includes a sub-band extraction end(210), a pre-compensation end(220), and a sub-band coupling end(230). The sub-band extraction end separates an input signal with a broadband characteristic into N sub-bands. The pre-compensation end comprises N pre-compensators. The pre-compensators control an amplitude or phase in order to provide a per-compensation characteristic with respect to the phase or gain of each sub-band to the output of the sub-band extraction end in order to compensate a degradation phenomenon of the phase and gain planarity within a band. The sub-band coupling end generates an output signal(202) including broadband characteristic by combining N output signals of the pre-compensator.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
