PURPOSE: A Fol-PEG-SPIONs-Cy5.5 labeled with near infrared ray fluorescent dye for optical imaging is provided to ensure low cytotoxicity and to clearly detect tumor site.;CONSTITUTION: A Cy5.5-labeled folate-PEG-superparamagentic iron oxide nanoparticles(Fol-PEG-SPIONs-Cy5.5) is used for lung caner imaging. A method for preparing the Fol-PEG-SPIONs-Cy5.5 comprises: a step of preparing folate-PEG; a step of coating superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles using the folate-PEG; and a step of labeling the surface of the nanoparticles with Cy5.5. A contrast medium for lung cancer imaging contains the Fol-PEG-SPIONs-Cy5.5 as an active ingredient.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
