PURPOSE: A code processing method and apparatus using a differential error injection attack during a data encryption standard round key generation procedure are provided to inject errors during a 16 round key generation procedure, thereby broadening an error injection capable range.;CONSTITUTION: A data encryption standard(DES) master key is a 64-bit including a 8-bit which is a parity check bit and 56-bit key. A parity drop part(20) generates a 56-bit encryption key by parity dropping the 64-bit master key. The 56-bit encryption key is delivered to a first shift part(31) and second shift part(33). A compression substitution part(35) generates a 48-bit round key through a compression substitution process. The compression substitution part outputs a 16 round key through the compression substitution process. An F-function part receives the 6 round key.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
