PURPOSE: A band for a saddle corporation cock is provided to reinforce strength since rib units are formed on the upper parts of the both sides of a band, not on a bolt hole.;CONSTITUTION: A saddle corporation cock consists of a corporation cock(10), a saddle(20) and a band(50). The band is fastened by a bolt(40) and a nut(42) with the saddle around a water pipe(30) and makes tight contact with the external circumferential surface of the water pipe. The water pipe is placed on a recessed portion of the band. The height of the recessed portion is within 1/2~3/4 of the outer diameter of the water pipe. A corporation cock and a saddle assembly used in branching a metallic water pipe without water blockage are used in branching a synthetic-resin water pipe without water blockage and are fastened by a bolt and a nut.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
