PURPOSE: Ultraviolet ray and infrared ray preventing powder, a method for manufacturing the powder, glass and a coating agent including the powder, and a method for manufacturing the glass and the coating agent are provided to control the visible light transmission rate, the ultraviolet ray prevention rate, and the infrared ray prevention rate by combining metal oxides in which the particle diameters thereof are between 10 and 100nm.;CONSTITUTION: Ultraviolet ray and infrared ray preventing powder is the mixture of metal oxide materials which are selected from W, Mo, In, Sb, Sn, Cs, Rb, V, Sr, Nb, and Cr. The metal oxide materials include a single main metal oxide material and one or more auxiliary metal oxide materials. The metal materials are dissolved and ionized in acid or base(S10). The ionized solutions of the metal materials are mixed, and the acidity of the mixed solution in order to obtain a precipitate containing the metal materials(S20).
