PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a glycol mono-tertiary-butylether compound is provided to prepare the glycol mono-tertiary-butylether compound with high yield in a relatively mild condition using inexpensive reaction materials.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a glycol mono-tertiary-butylether compound of chemical formula 2 comprises the steps of: reacting a glycol compound of chemical formula 1 with an isobutene-containing C4 hydrocarbon mixture in the presence of acid catalysts; and mixing the glycol compound with isobutene by circulating the product generated from the catalyst reaction step, and injecting the mixture into the catalyst reaction step. In chemical formula 1 and 2, R1 and R2 represent respectively hydrogen or C1-5 alkyl group; and n is the integer of 1-4.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
