PURPOSE: A crane collision avoidance system and a crane collision avoidance control method are provided to improve safety at work and to reduce the danger of a collision by predicting a collision between cranes exactly and controlling cranes with various scenarios. ;CONSTITUTION: A crane collision avoidance system(100) contains: first, second and third GPS receivers(120,220,320) installed to first, second, third cranes(110,210) respectively, and obtaining GPS coordinates and transmitting the GPS coordinates through a wireless communications net(400); first, second and third local controllers(130,230,330) predicting a collision between cranes upon the GPS coordinates; first, second and third display units(140,240,340) displaying a collision message to let a driver of each crane get collision information; and first, second, third alarm units(150,250,350) generating sound like buzzer to let a driver of each crane get collision information.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
