PURPOSE: By using a statistical translation error model, the translation error of machine translation is revised automatically. ;CONSTITUTION: A database stores the translation model and error model. A translation part(150) translates input sentence with reference to the translation model. An error correction part(160) revises the error about the sentence translation with reference to the error model. The translation model comprises the first language and the second language in which the first language is translated. The error model comprises the error expression about the second language and the expression in which the error about the second language is readjusted.
