PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing metal composite powder using mechanical activation and metal composite powder produced thereby are provided to increase mechanical strength by dispersing strengthened particle to intra-aluminum in a gas spraying technique. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing metal composite powder using mechanical activation comprises next steps. After aluminium is mixed with strengthened powder, aluminium-strengthened powder is manufactured by mechanical milling. Aluminium-strengthened powder manufactured after aluminium ingot is melted, is added and stirred to manufacture molten metal. The manufactured molten metal is sprayed with gas to manufacture metal composite powder. The strengthened powder is AIN, TiC or SiC. The manufactured aluminum-strengthened powder has a size of 10~5000m and has a plate or sphere shape.
