SHIP BALLAST WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM BY NEW FILTERING METHOD WHICH FACILITATES DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF FILTERING DEVICE AND IN WHICH OPERATION IS SIMPLE AND WASHING AND REPLACING IS SIMPLE
PURPOSE: A ship ballast water treatment system is provided to eliminate marine microorganism within the ship ballast water effectively by equipping inflow filtering unit and outflow filtering unit when seawater flows in to the ship ballast water tank or the ship ballast water flows out to the outside of the ship. ;CONSTITUTION: The ship ballast water treatment system includes the inflow filtering unit which filters the marine microorganism within the seawater by being installed in the inlet pipe which flows in the seawater to the ship ballast system tank. The inflow filtering unit includes: a cylindrical filtering housing(20); and an plurality of filtering layers(21,22) which is prepared inside of the cylindrical filtering housing. A plurality of filtering layers includes: a first filtering layer(21) consisting of a plurality of meshes less than the scale 1mm; and a second filtering layer(22) in which the porous material, in which the surface area is big, is filled to eliminate the marine microorganism within the ship ballast water with the adsorption. The porous material consists of one or more than two among plasticized yellow soil, the terra alba, volcanic ash or activated carbon.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
