PURPOSE: A method for decomposing rare nitrogen oxides using mixed metal oxide-based catalyst is provided to implement a nitrogen oxides decomposing process using CO and HC contained in an exhaust gas as a reducer.;CONSTITUTION: A catalyst layer, including one or more from a group including mixed metal oxide-based catalyst based on hydrotalcite compound precursor or brucite compound precursor, a catalyst obtained by adhering or interlayer combining precious metal with the mixed metal oxide-based catalyst, a catalyst obtained by adding a promoter to the mixed metal oxide-based catalyst and adhering or interlayer-combining non-precious metal with the mixed metal oxide-based catalyst, is prepared. An exhaust gas passes through the catalyst layer, and the nitrogen oxide of the exhaust gas is absorbed in the catalyst layer.
