PURPOSE: A non-dispersive infrared ray carbon dioxide gas sensor is provided to facilitate the use and module embodiment of a correction algorithm and improve calculating speed.;CONSTITUTION: A non-dispersive infrared ray carbon dioxide gas sensor comprises an infrared ray source(10), a photo diode, an optical cavity(30), a temperature sensor, and a controller. The photo diode multiplex-reflects the light coming out from an optical source. The optical cavity comprises a geometrical reflecting surface which and consecutively reflects the light which is incident from the infrared light source. The optical cavity forms optical path expanded by multiple reflections. The optical cavity comprises an air hole for the inflow and outflow of external gas. The temperature sensor measures the temperature inside the optical cavity. The controller calculates gas density from the current value outputted from the photo diode and the output value of the temperature sensor.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
